July Meeting and Tour

Here’s the final(?) deal on July 19th meeting.
Jim and Kaye Maguire will lead a tour to Kent and Judy Lambert’s house in Hood River (2280 Eastside Rd, Hood River) on the THIRD weekend in July (the 19th) . Meet at the Safeway parking lot on N.E. Halsey and 181st. To get there on Hwy. 84, take the Gresham exit # 13, proceed South on 181st to Halsey, turn right, and take a left into the parking lot.
Tour will leave promptly at 9:00 A.M. Since the word “promptly” is not mentioned anywhere in the Healey Workshop Manuel, I’m not sure what it means but get there as soon as you can. The tour will end at the Lamberts house in Hood River between 11-12:00 noon. Lunch will be served until our meeting, which will be at 1:00 P.M. After the meeting, Kent will take us on a short ride to a car show and air museum.
Discount rates of $6.00 have been secured. There will be no cost for lunch, the club is picking up the tab. If you wish to bring chips,salad, or a desert to share, please feel free to do so. The weather will be perfect and so will the tour. See you there!
