Aug. 7th, 2010 Mt. St. Helens Tour and BBQ
Which route is dependent on snow melt and road conditions.
If Windy Ridge road is open, we will meet and leave Morton at 11:00.(Still closed to date.) If not, we will be going to Johnson Ridge, leaving Toledo at 11:00.
Decision will be made by mid July which route we will be taking.(Cascade Club leaves Renton Starbucks at 8:00)Bring a picnic lunch, we will stop along the way to enjoy the scenery and eat.
(Not many stores or cafes along the way to buy it.)Dinner is to be at the Daniels Cabin, in Onalaska at 6:00 PM.
BBQ style Pot LuckBring your own drink, liquor is acceptable.Bring a dinner course per below, last name beginning with:A thru ESalad or bread.F thru KVegetable or AppetizersL thru PPotato or PastaQ thru ZDessertCascade Club staying at Motel in Morton Saturday Night. Others are welcome to join.
August 8th
Leave Morton at 9:00.
Arrive at Elbe at 10:00 for Train Ride.
Lunch in Elbe.
