I just purchased a hard top for my BN 7 to be restored and Bill Bolton looked at since the seller brought it to him to look at and he gave me a list of all the parts including the window that it needs which he is selling me. It all will be shipped to me in the near future.

I have a recently off frame restored 1960 (built in 1959) BN 7 3000 and I have saved and copied your article.

I plan to do the disassembly myself and some of the re-assembly and necessary restoration after I have the fiberglass repaired and the headliner installed. I would then install the new parts that Bill Bolton will have sold me.

Is there anything significantly different that I will have to watch for between the BT 7 instructions and a BN 7?

The seller is going to give me a copy of Roger Moment's article on Hardtop or I will get a copy if available from AHCUSA.

I noticed that you don't have a listing for California Healey Week (May 18-22) at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Ventura, CA. I would appreciate you adding the event to your calendar along with a link to our website www.austin-healey.org.

Thanks, Mike Scroggie

CRASH ON LAP ONE. Racing up at Kent (Seattle) this last summer I got the opportunity to test my reflexes and hand speed. The first scenes are on the pace lap. The action happens shortly after getting the Green flag. Based upon the gear I was in and RPM level, I estimate my speed to be around 95-100 MPH when things got crazy.
Turn up the volume and enjoy. The music is by The Dandy Warhols "Bohemian Like You".

Mark everything sounds great about your installation of the luggage rack. Only question: where did you acquire the shortened support legs? thank you.

Hey Guys!

I'm the man organizing this event! Just show up...I'm going to provide Dash Markers for all entrants, it's only $10 to be in the show!

I'm tired of going to car shows or cruise ins that include all cars - as the British Cars are always it seems, relegated to the sides or corners next to the over-blown Hemi Truck that's about as original as a copy of a copy of a copy of a car, gross!

Nothing like a True British Sports car, heck most American car designers stole the shape or style from British Design anyway!

Tell all your LBC friends and show up, it'll be some good times. I'm going to have a BBQ afterwards - just bring your own side dish, as I'm supplying dogs and burgers.

Thanks, Dan
