Additional Information
Visit Our Hotel: Find out about the hotel accommodations and amenities at the Valley River Inn web site www.valleyriverinn.com. When making reservations, be sure to ask for the $95/night Rendezvous rate.
Parking: There is ample parking for cars, trailers and RVs, but no hook-ups available at the hotel. The car parking is safe, but not covered. There are no speed bumps, but you’ll probably want to bring your tonneau or car cover.
RVs: The nearest RV park is at Armitage Park, a Lane Country park, about 5 miles North of Eugene near Coburg. Information and reservations available at http://www.co.lane.or.us/parks/armitage.htm
Downtown Eugene: Downtown is only minutes away from the hotel on the South side of the Willamette River. VRI has several shuttle vehicles that can transport you to downtown to visit restaurants, galleries or the Hult Center for the Performing Arts.
UO Campus: The University of Oregon is also minutes away. Tours can be arranged of the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art, the Museum of Natural and Cultural History and the University campus and athletic facilities.
Shopping: The Valley River Inn is located adjacent to the Valley River Center, a shopping mall which houses 120 shops, eateries and department stores.
Bus Service: The Breeze bus line runs from Valley River Center to the UO campus and downtown. The bus station is a short walk across the parking lot from VRI. Busses run at 15 minute intervals.
